Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce package freeze-dried strawberries (or dried strawberry powder)
  • 4 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar)

Instructions

  • Blend freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until fine. Or use pre-packaged strawberry powder.
  • Combine strawberry powder with icing sugar in a bowl. Pour into a gallon-sized freezer bag and set aside.
  • Microwave white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until melted.
  • Gently fold melted chocolate into cereal until fully coated.
  • Transfer coated cereal to the freezer bag, seal, and shake gently to coat evenly.
  • Spread cereal on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Notes

Use Rice Chex for a lighter crunch or Corn Chex for a heartier texture.
Avoid refrigerating after setting; room temperature keeps it crisp!
