Stir together the jello and boiling water in a large bowl until the crystals dissolve.
Add the cold water, vanilla pudding mix, and mandarin oranges and mix them well.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then fold in the cool whip, followed by the mini marshmallows.
Cover it, and let it chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving
- Start with a very large bowl that will fit all the ingredients.
- Drain the oranges well! The salad can end up too runny if they're not drained properly.
- Fold gently to keep the orange salad nice and fluffy.
- Chill the salad for at least three hours or even overnight before serving.
- Storing any leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container or covered in plastic wrap for up to 4 days. The ingredients may start to separate after two days, so just give it a stir before eating.
